Every Pharmacist licensed to practice Pharmacy in Ghana and is on the Permanent Register is required by law to be in good standing with the Pharmacy Council of Ghana in order to practice. This involves renewing their license to practice once every year in accordance with section 86 of Part IV of the Health Professions Regulatory Bodies Act (Act 857).
The requirements for renewal of a license is determined by the Board of Pharmacy Council and is subject to change by the Board.
The current requirements are:
- You must have obtained 10 CPD points in the previous year
- You must fill and submit the prescribed forms
- You must pay the required fee
